At Greerton Engineering we make a range of sizes of screw anchors. We can also make custom sizes for your job.
You can see in the pictures that our screw anchor eyes are turned back onto the shaft and the shaft and the turn back are fully welded for extra strength. Non welded or touch welded eyes are liable to be pulled open.
Many uses for screw anchors from attaching cables to tall posts and back to the ground for stability, adding strength to posts and row ends in Kiwifruit, grapes and other horticultural products. Use them for temporary tie downs for covers and other loose items. Tents, bouncy castles, boats, balloons, hurricane lines, temporary hillside ropes and cables. All manner of things that need to be secured to the ground.
Our screw anchors or ground anchors are hot dip galvanized for long life protection.
Standard sizes of our screw anchors are
1.0mtr x 12mm shaft with a 100mm screw plate
1.5 mtr x 12mm shaft with a 150 mm screw plate.
1.0 mtr x12mm shaft with a 100mm screw plate.
We also make Ground Anchors that can be screwed into a bank and used for holding bank walls in place. These can have screwed ends for fitting nuts and washers.
